Anna Rowland and Adam Beale are the founders of Northwood. Two experienced wedding and social photographers from different backgrounds, bringing all of their knowledge and experience to the world of commercial photography and film.
Our commercial client base has ranged from widely known companies such as Wagamama and BMW, to our local breweries and independent businesses. Whether we are shooting properties or products, corporate events or social content, our joint skillset spans a huge range from industrial to medical, catering to branding, and everything in-between.
We are as equally comfortable working for sole traders as we are for industry giants, and we bring our wide ranging skills to everyone needing awesome content for their website and socials. We have regular clients from the dentistry and aesthetics industries, breweries and international events companies, the list is ever-growing, and we'd love to add you to it!

Anna has been a full time photographer her entire adult life, and she STILL takes her camera everywhere!
With a diverse skillset and a great eye for light and composition, Anna is hugely experienced, knowledgeable and calm.
Anna's love of travel, nature and adventure has led her to cross the globe multiple times in her 20 year career as a full-time photographer.

A self-confessed geek, Adam is the go-to guy for anything technical. Before discovering his talents behind a camera, Adam had a background in metal fabrication, providing him with a wealth of industrial know-how and experience working across a broad spectrum of environments.
Adam is a keen street photographer, mountain biker, and paddleboarder, with a love of the great outdoors. Adam's easy-going personality and cheerful can-do attitude means he always puts our clients at ease in front of his lens, with excellent, clean compositions every time.

Why Northwood? Northwood is our home. Nestled into the mid-Devon countryside, we live by a forest on Northwood farm.
Northwood seemed the perfect name, as not only is it our home but the earthy-sounding name also suits our joint love for the outside world, adventure and exploration!
We are both passionate about the great outdoors and on our days off you'll find us exploring the South-West with our golden retriever, Nala.
We absolutely love to travel and have been fortunate to have been booked to photograph and film events all over the world, for which we consider ourselves extremely lucky. Check our some of our recent clients!
